Job Description


The Rental Revenue and Reservations Supervisor will provide day-to-day supervision to the Rental Department and related teams and their functions including but not limited to the Rental Revenue Reservations Specialist and Rental Revenue Management Specialist, ensuring, and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of our inventory monetization strategy for Bluegreen Vacations resorts. This is a critical role that interacts with other departments to ensure inventory available to be monetized is managed properly to maximize revenue and profits, and serve as an ambassador to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met. This position will also be responsible for managing rental distribution systems including but not limited to, audits to ensure reservations booked online are entered into Bluegreen Vacations’ reservations and front desk systems; ensure all customer communication is addressed; utilize pricing & yield management strategies to maximize inventory utilization and profit; support marketing campaigns and packages to maximize yield from available resort inventory; identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues to ensure the monetization operations run smoothly and effectively; interprets policies (i.e., BVC rules, SOPs, contracts, etc.) and demonstrates solid knowledge of processes and procedures of the Hospitality Industry and Bluegreen Resorts Management Inc. The ideal candidate should be able to work with limited oversight, has initiative, highly motivated, customer-service driven and be a strategic thinker. The candidate will also have the responsibility of developing and implementing appropriate human resource management strategies including recruitment, training, learning and development, performance management, compensation for employees and payroll processing.


Under the leadership of the Director of the Rental Department this position will support revenue management and inventory monetization growth, operations, and initiatives including but not limited to the following duties:

  • Day-to-day supervision of Revenue Management team job functions including scheduling, team deliverables, guidance, training, support, growth, and development
  • Day-to-day supervision of Rental Reservations team job functions including scheduling, team deliverables, guidance, training, support, growth, and development
  • Revenue management, rate yields, and promotional merchandising for rental resorts
  • Availability, rates, inventory (ARI) management and inventory replenishment
  • Guest/reservation support, troubleshooting, resolutions
  • Voice-channel key metrics assessment and reporting
  • Market and competitive set analysis
  • Support third-party channel management, development, and optimization
  • Property content and media management
  • Assist with rental revenue budgeting (annual and reforecasts)
  • Third-party channel partner accounting, commission processing, parity, and customer communication support
  • Third-party vendor accounting, audit, processing, and reporting support
  • Data, analytics, reporting; weekly revenue meeting report pre-preparation, review, and assessment
  • Choice Central and Ascend franchise property revenue support and development
  • Channel manager and internet booking engine on-boarding, setup, and platform management
  • On-site property management communications related to rental guest reservation fulfillment
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule that could include evenings and weekends


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent; or minimum 5 years of timeshare or hotel revenue and inventory management experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of timeshare or hotel revenue and inventory management experience, with heavy attention to detail and ability to learn new subject matter quickly.  Candidate should have strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ideal Candidate would have the ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action, while understanding and demonstrating flexibility and sound judgement.
  • Demonstrated success in leisure travel and/or hospitality revenue and inventory management is vital. CRME (Certified Revenue Management Executive) certification desired. Detailed knowledge (principles, systems, products, reservations, resort, sales process, customer service) specific to timeshare industry and or Bluegreen Vacation Club is preferred.
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel with the ability to create complex spreadsheets with advance formulas for financial analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The Ideal candidate would have expert knowledge pertaining to Bluegreen’s reservation management systems.
  • Prior use and operation of channel management and internet booking engine platform solutions.
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills are vital.
