Job Description

Purpose:

The End User Technology Training Coordinator is responsible for training IT staff and the general user population on new and existing technology. This focus will be on selecting a vendor to partner with to create an effective IT training program and learning platform to provide high-quality training.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the management and creation of training programs and courses by working with Subject Matter
• Experts in the preparation, development and their delivery of content
• Determines training needs through research and analysis and engaging users and management
• Prepares schedules, calendars, learning registrations, metrics, and produces progress reports related to learning activities
• Coordinates training functions such as: securing training space, communicating courses and training, tracking attendance, coordinating materials and logistics for on and offsite training events
• Responsible for maintenance of all curriculum and follow up processes for all training to include, but not limited to, new hire and refresher training
• Ensures Organizational Change Management best practices are followed with new technology releases
• Writes and reviews technical training materials and manuals
• Responsible for the Learning Management System administration. This includes maintaining subject matter expertise, inputting courses and user data in the LMS, leverages its capabilities, and acting as a liaison with integrated systems key contacts
• Works closely with training vendor and manage budget to ensure value without exceeding funding
• Support all IT functions, policies, procedures and initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
• 1 to 3 years’ experience developing training programs and managing vendors
• Experience with training software platforms
• Experience working in a dynamic and stressful environment with a strong
sense of urgency. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly
communicate to users at all levels both written and verbal.
