Purpose:

The Manager, Program Development II is responsible for executing and managing programs from the innovation thought process through concept design and launch. The position requires the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in alignment with Bluegreen’s strategic direction, develop solutions to address challenges, and execute that vision, including start-up projects as well as enhancements to existing programs. Projects will include developing ‘next generation’ programs appropriate for various stages of the timeshare customer lifecycle. This includes the research, design, development and implementation of new sales and owner programs or enhancements to existing programs. The daily responsibilities of this role include creative thinking, program development, project management, process development, and reporting analysis.

Responsibilities:

Leads the creation of an innovation structure that leverages primary and secondary research sources to develop the foundation and evolution of new programs and benefits that align to business objectives.
• Applies design thinking best practices to develop recommendations that will follow an iterative process through research, development, and testing.
• Initiates and manages the development and on-going management of new programs or enhancements to existing programs from concept design through launch.
• Manages the research and development process for new programs or enhancements to existing programs.
• Assist with negotiation of benefits and services with vendors.
• Facilitates contract executions and other legal reviews.
• Communicates, coordinate and collaborates with internal stakeholders including securing alignment, overcoming objections, gathering data, presenting findings, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance to the project plan.
• Provides on-going and as-needed reporting of new programs, identifying KPIs, associated metrics, and performing analysis to identify trends.
• Provides ongoing support and vendor management.
• Oversees deliverables with all internal and external partners including, marketing materials, training materials, scripting, presentations, communication tools, SOPs, etc.
• Manages, trains and develops direct report employees and new hires as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree is required
4 years of related experience and a proven track record with project development and management.
Experience in management consulting, innovation, or product development a plus.
Familiarity with Vacation Ownership, Real Estate, Travel Club, Hospitality or comparable industries is helpful.
Customer Service Fundamentals, MS Office.
Exceptional project management and interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial nature. Bottom-line focused and able to react quickly to changing market conditions and business development needs. Must enjoy a constant challenge in a fast-paced work environment, be focused on the bottom line; and able to react quickly to ever changing office dynamics and market conditions. Must have strong computer skills and technical aptitude to compliment a strategic outlook to any project.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
Strong organizational skills and ability to function in a multi-tasking environment.
