JOB SUMMARY:
 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for executing the People Strategy. You will be the HR contact for our associates in the Wisconsin Dells Market and other TBD providing a high-touch HR partnership. The Business Partner is a highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships with all levels of associates within the organization. 

Your will partner with the resort leaders. Coach and counsel leaders through a variety of topics including performance management, progressive discipline, terminations, and other issues related to policy. Be able to influence leaders and drive engagement outcomes. You will lead the recruitment and employee relations efforts for the resort. You will drive the company culture that is supportive and engaging for associate relations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Recruiting, Assist with Job Fairs and Orientation seasonal openings. Partner with the Talent Acquisition on new job offers.
  • Assist HR Centers of Excellence and Shared Services in delivering state of the art Human Resources processes.
  • Provide instant and immediate feedback on all HR processes procedures and initiatives
  • Lead change management projects for internal clients and human resources
  • Design robust succession pipelines and support talent management, including leading talent reviews, facilitating 9-Box discussions, and creating development plans; monitor and report business unit plans on workforce and succession.
  • Act as the independent advisor for associates in tough situations.
  • Work with field HR leadership to ensure site compliance with HR requirements, including, but not limited to new hire on-boarding, payroll and benefits processes, I-9 compliance,.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues partner with Director and VP, as well as outside council.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding programs (implement Exit Survey).
  • Master navigator for GPS and H3, deliver trainings and onboarding presentations might facilitate new leader transition.
  • Manage (familiarity) compliance activities to include EEOC, ADA, ACA, WC and FMLA Third party Vendor The Hartford LOA & FMLA.
  • Partner with Talent Development team, as necessary, on the review and development of field management and associate training modules to ensure consistency with HR practices.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND: 

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with specialty in Human Resources.
  • 5+ years as an HR Generalist or Recruiting and 1+ years of HR Business Partner.
  • SHRM Certification preferred.
  • Experience effectively coaching others through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
  • Experience developing and sustaining relationships across multiple levels of employees.
  • PC proficiency in MS Office Suite, HRIS systems (Ceridian preferred)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation and public speaking skills
