Purpose:

Retail Marketing’s Outdoor Traveler by Bluegreen is a kiosk concept located exclusively in Bass Pro Shops. The Assistant Sales Manager will provide management support and guidance in the development of new and existing sales representatives as well as providing outstanding service to Bass Pro customers through both sales and marketing efforts – such as generating leads, offering vacation getaways, and selling vacation getaways.

The Assistant Sales Manager will assist the Sales Manager with maintaining a positive relationship with Bass Pro Management and associates; support the sales team by providing training, guidance, and floor management in addition to work/staff scheduling and boosting overall production.

Responsibilities:

While promoting our sales and marketing programs:
• Provide excellent service by fulfilling the vacation and travel needs of every customer.
• Support the Sales Manager with work performance of the staff through guidance, mentoring and training.
• Responsible for work/staff scheduling for location and general floor management.
• Maintain standards of lead collection, package sales, as well as other assigned sales and marketing promotions; will also ensure sales team standards are maintained, including dress code and sales performance through training and coaching opportunities.
• Attend and actively participate in trainings and meetings.
• Engage with owners and prospective owners according to Bluegreen company guidelines.
• Use only company approved collateral material and documents.
• Will support the Sales Manager with administrative responsibilities during his/her absence.
• The Assistant Sales Manager will be required to sell packages.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Sales or Marketing experience is required.
• Previous Management experience is preferred.
• Sales Management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of the timeshare industry, OPC marketing or telemarketing sales is helpful.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Customer service and quality fundamentals, MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, company’s intranet system and corporate policies and procedures.
• Outgoing; able to converse with customers.
• Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong communication/listening skills.
• Willing and able to work in an outdoor environment.
• Eagerness to become a Manager.
