Purpose:

The Supervisor, Resorts Inventory Management provides direct day-to-day supervision to the Inventory Coordinators’ team in the Resort Inventory Management Department. This associate supervises this team to assure accountability and oversight of department job functions in compliance with departmental goals and objectives. They will ensure daily, monthly and annual inventory management needs are met, with a focus on creating new Bluegreen Vacation Club inventory in different systems and coordinating the inventory allocations for Bluegreen Vacation Club, Marketing, Hotel Sales, Renovation projects, Exchange Companies and other Bluegreen Partners. The Supervisor will also analyze and resolve problems, interpret policies (i.e., BVC rules, SOPs, contracts, etc.) and demonstrate solid knowledge of processes and procedures for Timeshare Industry and Bluegreen Vacation Club.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises Inventory Coordinator, as well as inventory processes, and recognizes the connections that exist between both.
• Researches and verifies all necessary resort information for all new resort products and create inventory in corporate database (e.g. AS400, TSW).
• Assists Managers of Resorts Inventory Management with the identification of inventory to be provided to external partners and systematically manages the daily posting and release process for each partnership.
• Coordinates reservation process for field marketing teams including allocation of available inventory during approved periods, assistance with creating contiguous availability, and release or turn back of inventory on a predetermined schedule.
• Pulls queries from corporate databases as required to measure activity and performance of various distribution channels.
• Secures all inventory required for resort sales models, sales offices, annual maintenance weeks, renovation projects, and emergency out of service situations.
• Maintains positive relationships with all inventory partners, internal and external.
• Responsible for master inventory allocation files for department.
• Assists Managers of Resorts Inventory Management on miscellaneous inventory requests from all internal and external partners.
• Acts as a troubleshooting resource for onsite property management, call centers (Owner, Hotel Sales and Marketing), IT and external partners (RCI, SVC, etc.)
• Assists with TSW Core Enabler development and integration, with a focus on BVC rules, reporting needs and resort set up.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional, operational, accounting, or systems related experience.
Expert in MSOffice Suite, with specific focus in Excel and the ability to use to
design and modify complex spreadsheets.
Knowledge pertaining to any reservation and/or inventory systems is preferred.
Familiarity with AS400, AS400 query writing, and TSW is also preferred.
Heavy attention to detail and ability to learn new subject matter quickly. strong
and accurate computer/ typing skills. Able to be comfortable in a position that
requires minimal social interface.
Must demonstrate emotional maturity. Can respond to situations that are
stressful while remaining in control of emotions and behaving in a professional
manner when dealing with others.
the ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to
determine appropriate action, while understanding and demonstrating flexibility
and sound judgment.
