Job Description

The purpose of the Spa Coordinator is to provide excellent customer service serving as the facilities first impression. The coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the guests and coworkers. The Spa Coordinator is also responsible for the efficient and courteous operation of the front desk including maximizing spa bookings as well as maintaining proper working relations within the departments. Coordinator should seek opportunities to create memories by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations and building relationships.


Responsibilities:

Greet all guests warmly with a smile.
Maintains a positive, professional appearance/manner at all times.
Complies with attendance requirements.
Check guests in/out in most efficient and courteous manner.
Accommodate guest needs by booking, confirming and/or changing appointments.
Assess and resolve any and all conflicts or issues in a professional timely manner.
Collect balances/monies and post appropriate charges.
Properly distribute cash gratuities.
Answer/return phone calls using proper telephone etiquette.
Answer questions about the various spa treatments,products and specials offered at the spa .
Coordinates with therapists and technicians to ensure a smooth response/transition to guest requests and needs.
Promote, sell and handle properly all gift certificate/retail transactions
Maintain a clean/orderly spa..dishes,laundry,product stocked etc.
Run end of shift reports.
Open and close out credit card transactions and cashier audit reports.
Balance cash drawer.
Schedules/books reservations.
Delivers appropriate end of day paperwork and makes necessary money drops.
Commits to company policies, SOP's, Quality Express Commitments, as well as company's core values.
Performs other duties as required by manager.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
1 year Customer Service experience in hospitality related field
Customer service experience. Knowledge of spa treatments. Nail/Skin license preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with guests, associates, and the general public. Must be able to learn and adapt to a fast paced environment. Works independently and problem solves well. Ability to interact with a wide range of people. PC proficient. Strong communication/writing skills.
