Job Description

Bluegreen Vacations is seeking an Operational Process Improvement Analyst who will support the Resort Operations division. The Analyst will support an environment that reinforces continuous improvement of business processes, increases consistency, reduces guest pain points and empowers other team members to enhance the value of the service they provide to owners and guests. The Analyst will guide best practices in Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry, Guest Services, and other core functions of onsite Resort Operations. The Analyst develops standardized operating procedures to be rolled out to our resort operators through detailed review, documentation, analysis, and reporting around existing and future key functions. The role also supports resort portfolio-wide safety & security, social responsibility and sustainability as well as talent acquisition and talent development initiatives by developing standardized reporting, internal and external benchmarks, etc.

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for developing, administering, and optimizing the use of specific Hospitality Operations productivity platforms including HotSOS and Inventory Smart to drive efficiency and consistency across all Resorts in the Resort Management portfolio.
Identifies and analyzes key functions.
Documents procedures and processes, drawing inferences from process details.
Examines processes holistically, performing cost to benefit analyses.
Guides and designs the implementation of new processes, measuring and reporting on both effectiveness and compliance.
Facilitates workshops to gain field feedback and disseminate new processes.
Develops standardized reporting on support functions.
Develops internal and external benchmarks.
Supports special projects within Resort Operations
Performs ad hoc reporting, as dictated by business needs.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Hospitality, required
1 - 2 years of hospitality operations experience
3 - 5 years of demonstrated process improvement experience
Six Sigma Certification, preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Demonstrable knowledge of workflow documentation platforms
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with of all levels management.
