Job Description

The purpose of the In-House Marketing Representative is to book owners, exchangers, renters, and any other in-house guests that are not currently on a marketing package with a sales presentation, whether an ownership review or a resort guest presentation. Book other guests that are off property at marketing partner properties, or other classifications or qualified guests as deemed necessary by management to cover the scope of the business requirements.



Responsibilities Include:

-Assisting the Manager, In-House Marketing with assigned responsibilities.
-Contacting each Owner, Sampler, Rental, Exchangers, Owner Referral and Non-Owner Referral arrivals.
-Booking all qualified Owner, Sampler, and Owner-Referral arrivals on a 120 minute vacation club presentation.
-If assigned, calling pre-arrival guests to increase penetration and improve guest experience.
-Maintaining the minimum department standards as determined by the Manager, In-House Marketing .
-Handling guest service issues and maintaining exemplary customer service at all times ( internal and external )
-Assist all guests with general Concierge services; providing area attraction information and vacation planning ; answering general questions about resort activities and amenities; referring guests to the ticket sales desk for ticket information , purchases, and reservations .
-Consistently focus on lowering premiums and overall net cost per tour through creative use of gift vouchers and ticket discounts.
-Following up with all open leads including ' will call back ' leads and no show/cancellation tours.
-Offering all non-interested and disqualified guests a face-to-face package, pushing for a return; for instance, an IPOR guest traveling without spouse who meets the necessary qualifications.

Job Requirements

-High School diploma or equivalent required
-One year timeshare and customer service experience
-Two years Production-based Position
-Concierge, Web Based Reporting, and basic check-in procedures. Customer Service and quality fundamentals, MS Office
-Basic to intermediate computer knowledge , strong communication skills, good time management and organizational skills, and customer service. Detailed-oriented and problem solving skills, strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
