Job Description

Director Training and Development is responsible for driving Retail Package Sales productivity through engagement, including identifying and developing systemic and customized solutions for training and developing for the sales and marketing divisions of Bluegreen Vacations. This role has been designed to ensure sales, new leadership bench strength, and profitability reach and exceed budgeted targets. Director will manage and oversee our current and future talent development strategy in multiple regions with a focus on leadership and management development of all members of the sales and marketing organization including package sales, marketing, through driving retail package sale metrics. With a significant emphasis being placed on virtual technology skills. Content Development experience a plus.
This role will provide leadership and guidance while collaborating with the senior leadership teams to achieve strategic sales, marketing and leadership development goals enabling Bluegreen Vacations to attain higher levels of success while adding to the overall preparation and development of our sales and marketing leadership team’s bench strength.

They will oversee field trainers and engage in leadership development and sales training as needed. In addition, they will be instrumental in keeping two way communications flowing with the field and independently measuring results of training and changes in performance by communicating results with senior leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years in a learning leadership role with preferred sales training experience
  • Strong ability to partner, collaborate and communication with stakeholders
  • Strong assessment, analysis, facilitation, instructional design and evaluation competencies
  • Project management expertise to prioritize multiple projects at different locations in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to manage strong performing teams
  • Sales training, process, customer service and MS Office Suite.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization. High degree of professional maturity.
