Bluegreen Vacations is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer (Director of Engineering) to join our flagship resort, The Fountains Resort in Orlando, Florida. This role presents a unique opportunity to oversee the engineering operations of a large-scale resort comprising over 800 units and managing a dedicated team of over 50 associates. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering management within the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellence in guest satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You will be responsible for directing all functions in the Maintenance and Grounds Department; oversee all landscaping, physical structure, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, FFE, and preventative maintenance of the property.
- You will meticulously focus on safety, asset protection, and guest satisfaction.
- You will be directing the planning, organization, and management for the maintenance department and lead in the adherence of all Bluegreen Vacations SOP's, quality standards, policies, and local governmental regulations.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 4-year college degree and/or comparable industry experience and/or Technical Trade School education
- 8+ years experience in Maintenance or related field
- 6+ years in a leadership capacity, preferably in hospitality
- CPO, OSHA 30, EPA Universal strong preferred
- HOTSOS experience strongly preferred
- Possess strong budgeting, scheduling, and communication skills
