Job Description

The role of the Confirmation Associate is to ensure the guest's package and reservation expectations are met or
exceeded, and to ensure each guest receives the highest possible level of service while making sure the guest is
completely ready for their travel. Each associate must have complete knowledge of Bluegreen’s products and all destinations.

The Confirmation Associate is also responsible for answering inbound calls and making outbound calls in a timely
manner, being pleasant and helpful to all guests, providing accurate information, scheduling and rescheduling vacation
travel dates when applicable, and attempting to upgrade the base vacation, generating additional revenue for themselves
and the company.

Specific Duties Include:
•Place outbound calls to guests anywhere from the day of their arrival through 21 days prior to their arrival date to confirm their reservations and ensure eligibility
•Receive inbound calls from guests wishing to confirm their reservations and verify eligibility. Other inbound calls may be received as well, such as guests wishing to cancel or change their reservation dates, add enhancements,
ask general questions, etc.
•Know, understand, and keep up with changing offer, hotel, tour, Details of Participation (DOP), destination, and upgrade information
•Book, cancel and reschedule reservations as necessary
•Problem solve and provide excellent customer service
•Pitch and sell guests enhancements to their vacations, such as hotel and resort upgrades, extra nights, rental cars, attraction tickets, etc. when available
•Call out to guests who may already be confirmed to provide additional information or to pitch additional enhancements
•Train new associates

Job Requirements

What you need:

•High school diploma or equivalent

•Open Availability - working nights & weekends in department.

•1 year of customer service and sales experience

•6 months of Call Center experience

•Knowledge and understanding of the timeshare/travel/tourism industry and telemarketing sales is preferred

•Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

•Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse group of individuals

•Must demonstrate success selling upgraded vacation experiences

•Moderate data entry skills

•Ability to be flexible with work schedule (nights and weekends)

•Detail-oriented with analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal communication skills, able to perform well in stressful situations

•Successful Confirmation Associates are self-motivated, detail oriented, and are adept at multi-tasking
