Assistant General Manager - Shenandoah Crossing Resort
Shenandoah Crossing Resort located in Gordonsville, Virginia is seeking an Assistant Resort (General) Manager.
Nestled across 1000 acres of rolling hillside and lush pasture lands that encompass a scenic 60-acre lake, Shenandoah Crossing is the perfect place to stay for those who love the outdoors. The property encompasses 386 total units to include hotel, vacation ownership, and RV/Tent camp sites. The Assistant General (Resort) Manager will have direct oversight of Guest Services, Housekeeping, Recreation, and equestrian (100+ associates) and will play a pivotal role in ensuring each owner and guest receives an unparalleled vacation experience.
Location: 174 Horseshoe Circle; Gordsonsville, VA 22942
Compensation: Competitive base salary + 20% annual bonus potential. Relocation available as needed.
Schedule: Various shifts based on operation needs to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

POSITION DETAILS:
You will be responsible for managing the daily Resort operations, maintaining established costs and quality standards.
- Training, development, and mentoring of all associates
- Monitor leadership staff of the assigned departments ensuring the level of service and SOP's are followed and the necessary action to correct deficiencies promptly.
- Manage Resort's inventory to attain the highest yield and overall quality.
- Ensure safety and compliance in all areas of the Resort's guests and personnel
- Promote and foster relationships inter-departmentally and with Resort vendors.
- Enable innovation, drive results, perform inspections to ensure quality.
- Ensure standards of communication, association administration, and finance.
- Assists in preparing weekly and monthly reports as outlined by the Resort Manager.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated knowledge and leadership experience (5+ years) in both front of the house and back of the house operations.
- Timeshare experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
- Daily operations of the front desk, reservations, and problem resolution.
- Must be able to develop management staff, planning, and organization skills.
