Location: Laurel Crest Resort - Pigeon Forge, TN
Schedule: Full-time, Dayshift including weekends
Are you an experienced sales leader in the timeshare industry? Bluegreen Vacations is seeking a Director of Sales to elevate our In-House Sales team to new heights. If you have a passion for driving sales performance and a proven track record in the timeshare or vacation ownership industry, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Attain sales objectives, maximize profit, and maintain company sales performance standards.
Team Development: Hire, recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Conduct performance appraisals, coaching, and handle disciplinary actions.
Goal Setting: Set clear, well-defined, and achievable goals for each sales associate. Oversee the development of effective sales strategies.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Assist sales representatives in closing deals, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure successful completion of sales transactions.
Budget Management: Ensure the site meets or exceeds budgeted expectations by maximizing sales opportunities while controlling costs.
Sales Forecasting: Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals aligned with company objectives.
Mentorship & Motivation: Inspire and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed budgeted sales goals through regular one-on-one and group training sessions.
Compliance & Customer Service: Ensure adherence to all Bluegreen HR policies and procedures while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a management role within the timeshare industry, specifically in In-House Sales. Proven leadership in achieving and surpassing sales goals.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to hire, train, and develop a successful sales team. Expertise in performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales strategies, forecasting, and goal-setting within the timeshare industry.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive client experience.
