JOB SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for leading the Resort Maintenance (Engineering) and Grounds staff in maintaining the Resort equipment and property
- Supervises the entire scope of the maintenance department to include salary administration, budget, inventory, guest requests, and resorts comment card scores to be up to standard. Ensure Engineering meets Internal, Quality, and Loss Prevention Audit standards.
- Assists as required in solving complex maintenance problems.
- Direct the implementation of maintenance plans with consideration to operational and budgetary constraints.
- Responsible for hiring and onboarding process; interviewing, training, mentoring, coaching, and developing associates in the Maintenance (Engineering) Department.
- Conducts both daily and weekly walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures of the Resort.
- Develop, implement, and monitor all maintenance policies and procedures, inspections and schedules, and maintain logs and reports.
- Directs and assists in the implantation of maintenance plans and inventory controls with consideration to operational and budgetary constraints.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operation needs dictate.
- 3 + years as an Assistant or Engineering/Maintenance Manager, preferably in a hotel/resort environment. Timeshare knowledge strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, masonry, carpentry and safety operating systems.
- Preventive maintenance procedures required
- VALID and CLEAN Driver's License record
