Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is searching for an exceptional candidate to join our Sales Management team as a Frontline Sales Trainer.

Timeshare experience is required to be considered for this role.

As a New Member (Frontline) Sales Trainer, your primary role is to develop, and deliver training programs aimed at equipping new and current sales team members with the skills, knowledge, and techniques required to excel in their roles. Your focus will be on ensuring that new hires are well-prepared to effectively engage with potential clients, communicate the value of products or services, and contribute to the organization's sales goals. In addition, to new team members this role supports the continuous learning and mentoring of existing team members as needed or required by product launches. New Member Sales Trainers are a vital part of our management team and will stay engaged by acting as a TO/Sales Manager when necessary or training schedule allows.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:

    • Collaborate with sales leadership and subject matter experts to design and develop comprehensive training programs for new sales team members.
    • Create training materials, presentations, and resources to support the learning objectives.

  1. Sales Techniques and Strategies:

    • Instruct new hires on effective sales techniques, customer engagement strategies, and objection handling.
    • Cover product knowledge and features to enhance the ability to articulate value propositions.

  1. Sales Process Orientation:

    • Provide an overview of the organization's sales processes, including company core values, steps of the sale, and closing techniques.
    • Ensure that new and current team members understand and can navigate the sales funnel.

  1. Role-playing and Simulations:

    • Conduct role-playing exercises and simulations to reinforce learning and allow team members to practice and refine their sales skills in a controlled environment.

  1. Product and Industry Knowledge:

    • Ensure that new sales team members have a deep understanding of the organization's products or services, as well as the industry in which they operate.

  1. Performance Metrics and Goal Setting:

    • Educate new hires on key performance metrics and goals.
    • Provide guidance on setting realistic targets and strategies for achieving them.

  1. Continuous Coaching and Feedback:

    • Offer ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to new sales team members.
    • Address individual challenges and provide personalized support to enhance performance.

  1. Sales Manager

  • Acting as a TO or Sales Manager for Frontline team members as training schedule allows
  • Filling in for Sales Manager or TO as necessary for business needs require.

  1. Collaboration with Sales Leadership:

    • Work closely with sales managers and leaders to identify areas for improvement and tailor training programs accordingly.
    • Collaborate on strategies to enhance overall sales team effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Timeshare experience required.
  •  Experience in sales training and development preferred but not required.
  • Manager or TO experience preferred, or strong proven timeshare sales results
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to the needs of adult learners.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
