Director of Housekeeping - Bayside Resort

Bayside Resort and Spa located in Panama City Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper (Director of Housekeeping)

Schedule: Varied shifts dependent on operation needs, to include weekends, evenings, holidays.

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus 20% bonus potential. Relocation available as needed.

POSITION DETAILS:

You will be responsible for the operation of the Housekeeping Department under the guidance of the Resort Manager. 

• Oversee housekeeping staff and functions of Housekeeping.
• Assist in cleaning/inspecting rooms as necessary.
• Enforce policies and procedures to maintain QA standards at or above passing.
• Support with the hiring and training of all housekeeping personnel.  
• Maintain a safe work environment as well as fostering working relationships with other departments. 
• Manage inventory of room supplies, linens, laundry, and cleaning supplies within required budget.  

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)  
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• 4+ years of Management experience in housekeeping and laundry operations. Hospitality experience strongly preferred.
• Direct experience of leading a large in-house housekeeping department/
• Full knowledge of budgeting and inventory controls.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with diverse groups of people and associates in all levels of management.
