Job Description

The Training Coordinator supports the Hospitality Department, training and developmental programs and initiatives of the Hospitality Talent Development Department. The role manages and administers systems for all of Hospitality such as Bluegreen’s Learning Management System (LMS), the performance management process in our PMS, our Associate Recognition site, Office 365 pages and notebooks. This role also provides input on future program development; tracks and manages certified trainer database and compensation data, supports Associate engagement and recognition programs, records and analyzes data on learning programs and certified trainers; maintain records in and creates reports from our LMS. The Coordinator also assists with the planning and coordination of both off-site and on-site learning programs including securing training space, communicating courses and training dates, tracking attendance, coordinating materials and logistics for on and offsite training events.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the iLearn Learning Management System (LMS) for Hospitality to include maintaining subject matter expertise on the system, troubleshooting escalated issues from other administrators, and acting as a liaison with the Corporate Liaison.
• Maintains and inputs course and employee data into the LMS, leverage its capabilities, running reports as needed and acting as a liaison to the system with end users.
• Manages logistics for on and off-site training including: rooms reservation, food/snacks, materials, class scheduling, communication and inputting course completion data into the LMS.
• Delivers training on the LMS and other classes as needed.
• Administers the certified trainer programs including roster management and compensation reviews.
• Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for Talent Development and Associate Engagement systems including the LMS, SharePoint, Office 365, our People Management System and other systems that may come online.
• Sends post-training surveys, tracks results and makes recommendations on learning program changes
• Prepares schedules, calendars, and learning registrations. Produces progress reports, charts and/or spreadsheets related to learning activities.
• Maintains SOP documents pertaining to Hospitality and Corporate Talent Development.
• Responds to email inquiries and calls related to the Hospitality and Corporate Talent Development and Associate Engagement functions.

Job Requirements

- High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Learning and Development training coordination, LMS Management and Facilitation, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong proficiency in MSOffice 365 Suite.
- Effective oral and written skills.
- Ability to work independently/self-starter.
- Flexibility as it pertains to shift, change, with ability to add priorities quickly. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time while producing quality, accurate work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of leadership
- Must be highly detailed, organized and skilled at proofreading.
