Job Description

Purpose:

The In-House Marketing Representative's core responsibility is to book Owners, Exchangers, Renters and any other In-House Guests that are not currently on a marketing package for an Owner's Update or a 120 minute Bluegreen Vacation Club Presentation.

Responsibilities:


• Assisting the In-House Marketing Manager with assigned responsibilities.

• Contacting and speaking with each Owner, Sampler, Owner Referral, Rental, Exchanger, Shell and Non-Owner Referral arrival.

• Assist all guests with general Concierge services; providing area attraction information and vacation planning, answering general questions about resort activities and amenities, referring guests to the ticket sales desk for ticket information and purchases, providing dining information and making reservations, providing driving directions and rental car services.

• Calling guests pre-arrival to increase penetration and improve guest experience.

• Booking all qualified Owner and Sampler arrivals on an Owner’s Update.

• Booking all qualified Owner-Referral, Rental, Exchanger, Shell and Non-Owner Referral arrivals on a 120 minute Bluegreen Vacation Club Presentation.

• Follow up with all open leads including 'will call back' leads and no show/cancellation tours.

• Offering all non-interested and disqualified-qualified guests a face-to-face package, pushing for a return to Daytona.

• Handling guest service issues and maintaining exemplary customer service at all times (internal and external).

• Maintaining the minimum department standards as determined by the In-House Marketing Manager.

• Meet and exceed Minimum Penetration Percentages as outlined in the compensation structure.

• Consistently focus on lowering premiums and overall net cost per tour through creative use of gift vouchers and ticket discounts.

• Attending weekly In-House department meetings and monthly training sessions as scheduled by the In-House Marketing Manager.

• Perform other related duties in support of operations and other company initiatives as required and assigned such as chasing RDI leads and Owner Referral Parties.





Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).

• One year plus experience in telemarketing and customer. One year plus in production-based position, preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Good time management and have the ability to multi-task in fast moving surroundings.

• Must be outgoing and persuasive (sales-driven).

• Must feel confident talking to guests in person and over the phone.

• Flexible schedule is a must including; days, nights and weekends and must be 100% reliable.

• Must maintain a positive attitude and work well individually and as part of a TEAM.

• Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and strong communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
