The Talent Acquisition Partner, Business Support is responsible for leading and consulting on the end-to-end talent acquisition cycle across multiple corporate functions for Bluegreen Vacations and its family of companies, to ensure that we have the right and best talent in place internally and externally to support and grow our business. This position has a direct and immediate impact on the overall efficiency and profitability of the company.

Will be responsible for leading and informing staffing decisions with accurate knowledge of the organization's business objectives and deep expertise of the external talent market place. Will bring the voice of talent strategy to hiring decisions and identify how changes in business strategy impact talent needs, guide hiring managers through the process of making trade-offs between quality of talent and speed of hire, and help remind hiring managers what skills or characteristics matter most when they evaluate candidates.

This role is accountable for the development and execution of talent acquisition strategic plan(s) to ensure we are hiring the best possible talent. The Talent Acquisition Partner, Business Support is required to provide depth and subject matter expertise to key stakeholders (including hiring managers, candidates, and HR Business Partners) to ensure the delivery of an efficient, effective and value-add talent acquisition experience.


Manage the end-to-end hiring process to ensure effectiveness and drive an exemplary candidate and hiring manager experience including:

• Source, identify, and select candidates for positions at all levels from entry to mid-senior level
• Conduct Hiring Manager “needs clarification” when requisition opens.
• Manage internal and external pipeline of candidates through the hiring process, pre-screen and develop roster of candidate.
• Develop external sourcing strategies and pipelines drawing upon multiple sourcing channels to deliver the best solution.
• Interface with candidates in a way that ensures best in class candidate experience utilizing employee value proposition philosophy.
• Coordinate all candidate interviews internally and externally, local or remote. Act as on point resource for all candidate interviews. Monitor and address issues with scheduling and logistics.
• Conduct or coordinate any special assessments as required by position.
• Manage candidate selection process and debrief sessions.
• Coordinate salary survey requests through Compensation and ensure alignment to hiring manager budget.
• Develop salary recommendations for offers in partnership with hiring manager and Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Engage candidates early in the process, internal and external, with a profound discovery of their job search process including competing opportunities/offers and salary expectations. Explore candidate current compensation package beyond face value. Anticipate and explore road blocks prior to arriving at the offer stage.
• Track and document all pertinent applicant and interview activity within the applicant tracking system (currently UltiPro) and maintain with data integrity.
• Demonstrate Talent Acquisition leadership and act in a strong talent advisory/consultative role when managing external hiring process by consulting with key stakeholders, providing thought leadership, expertise and guiding effective talent decisions, helping hiring managers make the best decisions by identifying, selecting and developing strong talent.
• Maintain a consistent awareness of stakeholder organization and associate movement to understand the internal pipeline.
• Proactively and regularly study labor markets and understand competing organizations (i.e. demographic trends, employment projections, hiring trends, etc.). Communicate deep external insights to stakeholders and integrate data into sourcing strategies.
• Identify opportunities to utilize talent analytics to drive talent acquisition decisions, recommendations and consultations. Assist with preparation and tracking of departmental metrics.
• Manage and evaluate the use of third-party staffing vendors, its need, and effectiveness. Negotiate competitive placement rates and initiate legal contract/agreement evaluation process.
• Assist Compensation and hiring manager in the process of creating and reviewing job description language as well as internal/external job posting and employment advertising verbiage.
• Conduct regular follow-up with stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation. Communicate with managers and associates regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve/streamline the digital applicant experience. Remain current on cutting edge sourcing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Help establish and reinforce a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
• Seek regular feedback with the intention of further self-development and take accountability for self-growth.
• Understand the importance of social responsibility by fostering and developing relationships within colleges including facilitating student presentations, attending student group meetings, and increasing college awareness for Bluegreen prior-to and following career fairs.
• Initiate and follow through on employment screening process. Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential associates.
• Provide career-path support to existing associates.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree highly desirable
Minimum 5+ years of direct work experience as a talent acquisition professional in a complex corporate recruiting environment and/or executive search firm.
SHRM certification a big plus.

• Excellent communication and interviewing skills with the ability to interact with associates and potential candidates at all levels.
• Talent Acquisition generalist with a strong sourcing skillset and pipeline building capability.
• Breadth of experience sourcing for entry level, mid-senior level talent across various functions such as Information Technology (IT), Corporate Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Human Resources, Legal, etc.
• Strong consulting skills required with the ability to effectively lead and engage stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
• Prior experience in managing complex/virtual senior stakeholder relationships, including the ability to support multiple leadership teams.
• Must have strong business acumen, project management & problem solving skills, and attention to details.
