Job Description


The Senior Development Services Specialist - Secondary Market is responsible for assisting the team in executing the Secondary Market Inventory Plan. This would include the documentation to implementation for each source of business that is included in that channel of business. The Senior Specialist will participate in the development and design for any new initiatives planned.

This position could interact with potentially every department within the organization as well as direct contact with external clients, requiring a detailed and organized candidate who can function in a multi-tasking environment. Must possess the ability to engage team members to cooperate and collaborate as needed to achieve the ultimate results. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The candidate will be asked to demonstrate critical thinking and decision making skills to identify issues affecting the delivery of new products and program enhancements and use a standardized process to make sure that communication effectively flows to all essential channels.

The Senior Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining and organizing a variety of documents associated with the Development Services team. The documents and resource materials communicate ideas, action items, training elements, performance and information regarding programs, processes, contracts and new initiatives.


• Maintain day to day oversight of various inventory acquisition programs. Responsibilities include processing documentation, monitoring the progress of individual cases/inventory, tracking and reporting by utilizing systems such as Salesforce, coordinating across the organization to resolve issues, documenting process flows and procedures, and managing outside vendors involved in the process.
• Understand and support the strategy for inventory acquisition programs. Responsibilities include identifying trends, reporting program results, and making recommendations for improvements to meet Secondary Market goals and objectives.
• Project manage special projects designed to support the acquisition of inventory. Responsibilities include defining clear project objectives, creating project plans, identifying key participants and stakeholders, producing and maintaining documentation, conducting interviews and research with stakeholders, creating and distributing meeting minutes and updates, organizing and participating in cross-functional meetings, and documenting and presenting project results & outcomes.
• Support new program development. Responsibilities include helping to identify trends and opportunities, conducting research, producing proposals for executive level presentation and review, and creating implementation plans for those recommendations.
• Collaborate across all areas of the company to achieve program/project goals. Responsibilities include communicating written and orally in a timely and professional manner, utilizing technology to share and create project documentation, maintaining organized and easily-accessible records on the company shared website, and facilitating communication amongst/between departments.

Job Requirements

Bachelors’ Degree required
Three years related experience and a proven track record with project
management, inter departmental communication / collaboration, process flow
mapping and written documentation, marketing, or client support/management
in the Vacation Ownership, Real Estate, Travel Club, Hospitality or comparable
Customer Service Fundamentals, MS Office Suite
Ability to clearly communicate, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills as this position interacts with multiple departments within the organization
Proven performance in handling multiple tasks/projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team
