Job Description

Purpose:

Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, the Marketing Operations Coordinator will provide administrative marketing support for Retail Marketing sales teams, including but not limited to: Managing the order process for sales and marketing collateral, business cards and point-of-sale gifting; oversee the internal ‘community’ platform for all of Retail Marketing (Teams); manage the team’s Awards & Recognition Program fulfillment; order promotional products for seasonal campaigns; new store collateral fulfillment; oversee sweepstakes winner award processes; and assist with ad hoc projects as needed. Our preferred candidate will be passionate about marketing, detail oriented, creative, a team player, an effective communicator and able to multi-task.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Support the activities of the Sr. Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist as needed.

• Sales and Marketing Collateral:  Manage marketing collateral inventory, place orders for sales teams; maintain collateral order records; ensure new items are placed into fulfillment vendor inventory; update collateral order form as needed; and regularly review inventory status reports with Sr. Manager to ensure adequate inventory is maintained.

• Grand Openings/Store Shipments:  Ensure stores have the all the collateral, signage, supplies and offers needed by established deadlines.

• Point of Sale Gifting: Manages the point of sale gift card orders for all sales teams.

• Promotional Products:  Order through external vendors as needed for seasonal marketing campaigns.

• Internal Community Management:  Day-to-day administration of internal community platform (Teams), including team engagement/collaboration, content management, measurement/reporting, troubleshooting, technical support, platform optimization, create and maintain training resources.

• Awards & Recognition Program:  Order awards through external vendor on a quarterly basis; create award certificates; distribute pins and awards to winners; process Choice Privilege Point allocations.

• Sweepstakes: Assist with all processes relating to the selection of eligible winners and awarding of prizes.

• Procedure Documentation:  Document all processes relative to the position; assist with training when new team members are onboarded; conduct proactive process streamlining and improvement.

• Special projects upon request.
 

Requirements:
 

• 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing role.

• Highly customer service-focused with a deep desire to meet or exceed customer expectations

• High level of attention to detail to spot errors and inconsistencies

• Ability to work quickly, multi-task priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy displayed in the final product 

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Ability to come up with creative approaches to communications to capture audience attention

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
