Solara Resort in Surfside, FL is seeking a Valet Attendant that will also work at the Front Desk. The primary role will be Valet Parking, however you will also cross-train at the front desk and work as a Guest Services Agent on an as needed basis. This person serves guests and owners during their stay by making it easier and more enjoyable to arrive, check in, and stay at the property. The Valet Attendant must constantly coordinate with the front desk on all check in/check outs. Reports all safety issues concerning guest, luggage, parking of cars, and reporting suspicious behavior to security. Promotes the services of the resort during interaction with owners/guests.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities:

• The Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for greeting guests and assisting them with removing their luggage from their vehicle(s).

• Assist guests with requests and any questions they have.

• Parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and securely.

• Walk the property to ensure security.

• Report any and all issues to the Guest Services Manage or Manager on Duty.

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)

• Customer Service – 1 year

• Driving Experience – 2 years

• Valid driver’s license. Must know how to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

• Must have interpersonal skills when dealing with associates and guests

• Must be able to work independently.
