Job Description

The Spa Coordinator provides excellent customer service while serving as the facilities’ first impression. The coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the owners, guests and coworkers. They are also responsible for the efficient and courteous operation of the front desk including maximizing spa bookings as well as maintaining proper working relations within the other resort departments. The Spa Coordinator should seek opportunities to create excellent memories by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations and building relationships.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities
• Greets all guests, checking guests in/out in an efficient and courteous manner
• Accommodates guest needs with reservations, confirmations and/or changing appointments
• Assesses and resolves conflicts or issues in a professional timely manner
• Processes payments per Bluegreen policies and procedures
• Informs the Supervisor of any Cash Gratuities and secures them for the service provider
• Answers/returns phone calls using proper telephone etiquette per Bluegreen SOP
• Maintains knowledge of and demonstrate the ability to answer questions about the various spa treatments, products and specials offered at the spa.
• Coordinates with therapists and technicians to ensure a smooth response/transition to guest requests and needs
• Promotes, sells and properly handles all gift certificate/retail transactions
• Maintains a clean/orderly spa, ensuring that dishes and laundry are cleaned, products are stocked, and floors are dusted
• Runs and balances end of shift reports
• Opens and closes out credit card transactions and cashier audit reports ensuring accuracy daily.
• Balances cash drawer at tend of shift. Obtains supervisor/MOD signature on all end of day paperwork and daily cash drops
• Schedules/books reservations. Coordinates with Service providers to ensure the appointments are covered at all times.
• Commits to company policies, SOP’s, Quality Assurance Commitments, as well as company’s core values
• Assists the Spa Manager with marketing initiatives, both internally and externally.

Job Requirements

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year Customer Service experience in hospitality related fields.
- Knowledge of spa treatments
- Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with guests, associates, and the
general public.
- Ability to learn and adapt to a fast paced environment.
- Works independently and problem solves well.
- Strong communication/writing skills
