Job Description

The Night Auditor is responsible for the day end reports and reconciliation of revenues deposited by the front desk staff.
Night Audit is accountable for the accurate balances of the front desk cash drawers and reporting discrepancies to resort
accounting/ management along with any explanation of these discrepancies. Night Audit prepares all reports including
verifying registration cards for the next day arrivals, recognizing room moves or stayovers, advising of no show guests, and
the allocation of forfeited advance deposits. The Night Auditor is in charge of departures and arrivals during their shift and
in charge of problem resolution during 3rd shift. Perform any other tasks or special projects assigned by management.
The Night Auditor reports directly to Guest Services Manager.

 Owner Accounting - To perform the task of verifying owner account balances and to notify management of
maintenance fees outstanding.
 Front Desk Accounting - To reconcile front desk deposits for each associate. Balance cash drawers and verify
that each drawer is at its set amount for the day. Verify credit card transactions are batched and that totals match
with cashier audit reports.
 Registration Area Upkeep- Will clean and stock all areas of the registration area on a nightly basis. Including
stocking the beverage bar and restrooms. Maintain accurate inventory log of board games.
 Overseeing Communication for Resort - Working together with security to maintain a safe and comfortable
environment for guests. Dealing with incidents and guest needs during third shift and reporting to management
any resort issues that need to be addressed. Handling arrivals and departures that occur during third shift
including transactions with money and maintaining guest services. Assure accuracy of show ticket sales,
including updating show ticket spreadsheets in WeShare.
 Front Desk Controls - Reconciling discrepant phone charges on house accounts. Verifying correct room rates
are being posted. Running all steps of Night Audit and maintain printouts in for monthly records. Dispersing
Daily Reports to management and departments. Review pending issues for housekeeping for the next day shift.

Job Requirements

High School Graduate or G.E.D Equivalent

1-2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, resort operations, front desk
procedures.

Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be able to work independently
Must have good work ethic
Must be able to interact with wide range of people
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
Ability to focus on details and accuracy
