This position supports the Leadership Development needs of Bluegreen’s Resort Operations Associates. This position’s primary responsibilities include the launch and continued management of the current and future GPS Leadership Investment Series programs in addition to the design, development and facilitation of new and current Leadership Development programs and classes. This role will also support other Operational and Corporate Training as well as Associate engagement priorities. As a functional leader, this position must view coaching as mission-critical within Resort Management.


• Manage our GPS Investment Series Programs which includes the application and interview process as well as designing and delivering program specific content.
• Anticipating needs and actively engaging in regular resort leadership meetings
• Continually questioning organizational readiness to consume learning solutions and adapt as needed
• Managing special projects as required including scope, quality, schedule, cost, delivery and desired outcomes
• Building budget annually and forecasting, accruing, and communicating variances monthly
• Communicating and showing value to business leaders
• Design, develop and deploy a wide variety of training methods utilizing cutting edge training methodologies to reach all resort locations
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically
• Promote learning for leadership, line level and new Associates ensuring efficiency of training
• Engaging in corporate wide teams and seeking out partnership with other business units and report on them. Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
• Manage training programs from inception through roll out and sustainability
• Maintain a strong operational understanding
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
• Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
• Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
• Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
MUST be able to travel UP TO 50% of the time.

Job Requirements

BS degree in education, human resources, similar filed or related experience
• Proven work experience as a managing training functions
• Proven operations experience in the hospitality field
• Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
• Preferred operational experience in hotel or timeshare
• Has broad knowledge and experience with instructional design, adult learning facilitation and group learning.
• Experience using multiple-channel approach for training delivery; classroom, remote classroom, assessment, active learning, OJT, audio, video etc.
• Ability to assess, evaluate, design and implement training solutions based on organizational analysis and metrics.
• Excellent presentation skills with strong abilities to facilitate successful presentations and training programs to individuals and/or large groups at all levels of the organization.
• Requires a substantial and successful track record in handling multiple training programs and projects at one time.
• Proven track record of creating and implementing long term corporate wide programs and roll-outs within a cross-functional environment.
• Successful track record of influencing internal and external clients to make the right decision based on learning from experience and knowledge acquisition.
• Ability to manage extensive amounts of information and provide constructive feedback and direction.
• Excellent written skills that will produce communications that properly reflects the Bluegreen image.
• Ability to perform critical analysis of program interventions.

MUST be able to travel 50% of the time.
