Job Description

• Forecast monthly the hotel's financial position, by estimating revenues and line-by-line expenses. Analyze previous and projected data to generate an accurate reforecast.
• In conjunction with the Director of Sales, conduct a daily ABR meeting focusing on the number of prospecting and existing account calls each person will make and the potential business results of these calls.
• Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top ten accounts, meeting clients, hosting luncheons and receptions, and meeting with on-site contacts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Hold a monthly financial review with all department managers and available supervisors.
• Ensure that all department heads maintain budgeted productivity levels and standard checkbook accounting procedures.
• Participate in required M.O.D. coverage as scheduled.
• Inspect rooms public spaces regularly (weekly at a minimum) with appropriate key leaders AGM, Housekeeping Manager and Property Engineer, etc..
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs with department managers.
• Perform appraisals of hotel managers, coach, and counsel and develop all hotel management staff. Maintains procedure for orientation, training and development of all associates.
• Manage and achieve all areas of budgets by implementing proper controls.
• Maintain personal contact with guests of resort. Monitor and maintain procedures for safety of guests and associates.
• Ensure all communication standards are being met and all association administration and fiduciary duties are being carried out.
• Maintain all reporting SOP’s and timeline as outlined by the regional director and corporate.
• Demonstrate a passion for excellence, a love for services and innate grasp to plan, implement, evaluate and continually improve operations.
• Create a positive work environment by maintaining the highest level of ethics and integrity.
• Command a presence of respect and humility; demonstrating the ability to motivate and readily communicate expectations and follow up.
• Ensure effective interdepartmental operations, address and resolve guest and team member questions or issues.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service to current and prospective owners and guests in order to maintain a positive brand image and company reputation.
• Ensure that superior guest service is provided and must have a strong focus on Service Excellence and building a community.
• Achieve hotel revenue and yield management goals while achieving occupancy goals.
• Leads by example and communicates effectively
• Responsible for maintaining hotel designations, such as Medallia Guest Satisfaction score benchmarks, and adhering to the hotel’s financial budgets.

Job Requirements

1- Associates or Technical School, however, bachelor degree is preferred.
2 – Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in an Assistant General Manager position and 1 year experience in Hospitality Management.
3 – Essential Training, Knowledge, Licenses and /or Certifications:
Knowledge of the daily operations of front desk, reservations, yield management
and problem resolution. Knowledge of Vacation Ownership. Customer service
and quality fundamentals, MS Office.
4 – Essential Professional Skills/Competencies:
Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability
to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong
interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the
