Job Description

The purpose of the Maintenance Inventory Clerk is to manage the administrative duties in relation to the Maintenance Department. Responsible for reporting, safety training and documentation, inventory, purchasing, filing, documenting, project progress, and tracking repairs/replacements. Also, responsible for the overall cleanliness, organization and security of the Maintenance Shop and all other maintenance areas such as the cart corrals and both on and off site storage locations. Assist with daily maintenance duties, projects and the Preventative Maintenance program as time permits or as assigned by Management.

• Responsible for performing monthly inventories of all maintenance parts and supplies, maintaining appropriate par levels, ordering inventory, sourcing vendors and contractors, receipt of inventory, equipment, chemicals and supplies; maintain all logs, vendor lists, IA, QA, and LP audit requirements as needed to ensure proper accountability in this area.
• Ensures that purchases remain within budgetary constraints under the supervision of Chief Engineer.
• Maintain the standards of the health, safety, hygiene and security in the maintenance shop and all designated maintenance storage areas (on site and off site).
• Overseeing the planned maintenance of machinery, equipment, and vehicles (including annual VA vehicle inspections and vehicle registrations).
• Organize and file department paperwork, handle any daily, weekly, or monthly reporting responsibilities.
• Ensure the proper signing in and out of tools, and ensure that tools are properly secured on a daily basis.
• Ensure compliance to all Bluegreen SOPs, OSHA requirements, and any other local, state and federal regulations pertaining to the maintenance department and/or maintenance operations and maintain any records or reporting associated with those areas.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training with proper documentation and tracking in compliance with Bluegreen Risk Management requirements.
• Assist with daily maintenance duties as needed; special projects, and the Preventative Maintenance programs when time allows or as assigned by Management. Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma
Inventory experience of at least one year. Time share knowledge preferred
but not required. Maintenance experience of at least 1 year.
Should possess knowledge of daily resort operations and problem resolution.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with associates, vendors
and Guests/Owners.
Self-starter – able to work independently, but also must follow directions given
by supervision. Must have follow-through process on short-term and long-term
programs. Multi-tasking skills are needed. Flexibility to deal with everchanging
situations,action oriented and energetic. Have the ability to work
under pressure and deadlines and have good planning and time Management
skills.
