Job Description

The public area attendant is responsible to ensure that the daily common areas are kept up to the SOP. Responsibilities include maintaining all public areas, and other task assigned by the public area supervisor or maintenance manager. Also, this includes the delivery of items to the units and handling all housekeeping related guest calls. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule.

• Ensure all areas are cleaned daily with high dusting, removal of all trash, carpet areas vacuumed etc
• Ensure all projects are completed as required by management team
• Ensure maintenance requests are being reported for any broken and/or damaged items through out the public areas
• Ensure all public area restrooms are maintained and well stocked
• Must be able to work in other positions as required by management team


Job Requirements

• Education of 8th Grade or more
• Must have follow-through process on short-term and long-term programs and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with guests, associates, and the general public and have good work ethic
• Must have physical ability and willingness to work hours as necessary, be able to work independently, be able to wok in a fast pace environment, be extremely customer service oriented and have multi-tasking skills
• Able to follow directions
• Self-starter able to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Ability to constantly bend, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, walk, push, manual dexterity.
• Ability to constantly lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work schedule based on business demands, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, etc
