Job Description

To oversee the daily operations of the Activities Department and communication with other departments. This position is responsible for maintaining proper working relationships between the activities department and all other departments. As the Activities Supervisor you must be visible, available to work all shifts, and be able to assist guests as needed.
Responsibilities include hiring, training, and overseeing a staff of 2-8 persons

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities:
• Supervise the resort activities program by implementing and devising creative and fun activity programs for all
• ages.
• Recruit, train and continued development for all staff.
• Perform appraisals of all staff as outlined in SOP's. Coach, council and develop all staff.
• Organize monthly meetings and perform follow up to all staff. Schedule associates to meet the needs of the
• resort.
• Ensure the satisfaction of all Owners/Guests by implementing and maintaining proper Owner/Guests programs.
• Maintain the resort comment card and other grading system standards.
• Purchase, advertise and coordinate sale of merchandise through the Front Desk and Activities Center.
• Train and supervise the staff in posting and revenue achieved through the activities department.
• Track and maintain financial controls to stay within budgetary guidelines.
• Develop and maintain progress reports and program tracking for management review.
• Communicate programs and results to the appropriate parties.

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)

• 1 year experience working in Activities

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with associates,
Guests/Owners, and vendors. Need the ability to supervise a staff of 2-8
associates. Must have knowledge of the local areas attractions and
