Job Description


The Owner Educator develops product education programs to assist Bluegreen’s timeshare owners in understanding how to use their vacation ownership to its fullest potential. Owners who have solid understanding of the product are more likely to book vacations, which results in higher levels of satisfaction, improved propensity to refer others and increased lifetime value through additional vacation ownership purchases/upgrades. This role will coordinate and monitor the development of educational content, collateral, webinars and other programs that can be delivered through a variety of channels ranging from on-site (face-to-face) to virtual.


Collaborates on the development of product educational programs and materials to assist timeshare owners in understanding how to use their vacation ownership to its fullest potential.
• Partners with marketing department to create engaging materials that take complex ideas and make them simple to understand.
• Modifies educational programs to meet the needs of a variety of learning styles and customer demographics.
• Conducts research through surveys, focus groups and other methods to identify areas of opportunity to improve owner understanding.
• Stays current with market trends for virtual education and the use of multimedia to convey marketing/product communications.
• Conducts internal training sessions with associates to help improve their understanding of the core product.
• Establishes curriculum tailored to new and upgrading owners, including the ability to track progress and reward owners for accomplishing milestones.
• Partners with team members in Resort Operations, Sales and Marketing and customer support to identify gaps in product understanding. Develop new programs to address the gaps.
• Performs ongoing analysis of keyword searches performed on the owner website, as well as feedback ratings given to each article. Use the data to make improvements to content.
• Maintains all product information related content on owner website using Sitecore CMS.
• Manages/maintains online video assets hosted on Bluegreen’s Vimeo channel.
• Monitors a variety of social media channels and customer feedback tools to detect product concerns or other trends that would benefit from improved education.
• Solicits input from experienced customer service representatives to identify current topics that are leading to inbound calls. Uses information gained to develop new articles and/or give existing articles greater exposure to reduce inbound calls.

Job Requirements

Bachelors’ Degree in marketing, communications, business or education.
2-4 years of experience in a marketing, communications or product training role. Experience in the travel industry as well as Learning Management Systems experience a plus.
Highly proficient with developing clear, visually appealing presentations in PowerPoint and/or other presentation tools.
Requires excellent copywriting and written communications skills.
Ability to take complex ideas and make them simple for others to understand
Must be a fast learner of web-based applications and comfortable with new technology
Must be proficient with using data to inform decisions, measure results and iterate for success.
Highly organized, self-starter with excellent prioritization skills
Ability to work across a variety of levels within an organization and tailor communication style to each audience
