Job Description

Purpose:

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for the in-depth reporting and analysis on marketing activities and sales attribution in support of company revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

• Compiles historical results, current activity measurements, and results projection including dashboards, funnel reporting and analysis, interpretations and recommendations based on results.
• Creates suggestions for A/B testing methods to drive results, and weekly/monthly/quarterly annual reports to multiple levels of management.
• Drives lead scoring and qualification initiatives.
• Ensures sales attribution is accurately captured in marketing systems.
• Measures marketing ROI, reporting and accountability.
• Analyzes marketing automation/CRM/BI/legacy system data.
• Supports company initiatives where deep data and analytical knowledge is required.
• Interfaces with internal/external partners (I.T., vendors, etc.)
• Takes on other related projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Must have Bachelor’s degree- preferably in Computer Information Systems, Marketing, or Business Administration.
• At least 3 years of hands on experience working with large database systems.
• At least 3 years experience writing and developing SQL code.
• Prior experience using report building tools (Business Objects, Microstrategies, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with marketing automation, CRM or other SaaS based tools is strongly preferred.
Certification in marketing automation, CRM and/or database platforms is preferred.
• Must be very analytical and understand how to perform complex data mining exercises across disparate database systems, formulate recommendations and present results to business users.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, project management and decision making skills.
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite.
