Purpose:

The Manager, Associate Engagement & Internal Communication is an innovative, strategic, and ever-curious person who's passionate about driving communications and plans that support key stakeholders and inspire associate engagement. Will develop, execute, and manage communications strategies that inform associates about news and initiatives, engage them in an ongoing and meaningful dialogue, and inspire them to take action.

The Manager is an equal parts thinker and doer who is energized by working with diverse teams to create memorable associate campaigns and experiences. They must be a brilliant writer with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset, and be able to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment.


Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall strategic plan for Bluegreen’s internal web-based communication platform.
• Set the internal communications editorial schedule, ensuring messages align with Company objectives and external plans.
• Partner with key stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives and/or changes, develop integrated communications plans, and execute thoughtfully.
• Guide strategy, messaging, positioning, and planning that meet collective objectives.
• Influence partners and stakeholders as needed to ensure communications are compelling and aligned with not only our vision and values, but also our voice and tone.
• Write memorable, engaging communications that drive awareness of key initiatives and inspire associates to take action across channels — including email, digital screens, internal communication platforms, and video.
• Track campaign results and work with team and business partners to apply key learnings and consistently improve future efforts
• Design and execute Corporate events across Bluegreen’s Corporate offices.
• Provide leadership and communications plans on enterprise-wide projects that require significant change management efforts, e.g. organizational changes, system implementations, etc.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication or related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years’ experience with companies with cutting edge cultures
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications or a related discipline. Experience in a high tech or other fast-paced, disruptive environment a plus
• Broad understanding of internal communications strategies, tools, and measurements.
• Detailed experience in ground-up building of a communications function and intranet, including the latest technologies to support an intranet.
• A track record of successful change management initiatives.
• Superior grammar and engaging content writing.
• Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects at once.
• Confidence interacting with senior level leaders.
• A brilliant communicator and highly creative writer experienced in crafting compelling messaging and narratives. Can generate and execute 'breakout' ideas.
• Proven track record developing and executing creative internal communications plans.
• Experienced in email and social media marketing.
• Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications.
• Ability to lead, manage, and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and nimble environment.
• A strategic thinker with proven ability to work cross-functionally, exerting influence without direct authority.
• Dynamic, charismatic, confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritize on the fly.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive and results-oriented.
