The Integration Architect will be responsible for understanding key business requirements and developing IT architecture to interconnect Enterprise software solutions. In order to formulate technical strategies in support of the growing infrastructural needs, this person will research and design sophisticated process flows that enable the business with robust and scalable implementations. This person will utilize their technical leadership and expertise to architect for high volume transactional systems, complex integrations across cloud and on premise platforms, web service technologies, business intelligence technologies, relational database technologies, AS400 platform and customer/vendor servicing websites. This role will be responsible for guiding the technical design, interfacing with vendor technology/solutions, and guiding and mentoring internal teams on integration decisions. As an integral member of the IT team, this person will assist Technical Leads and Business Solutions Managers with setting overall technical direction for various IT applications/platforms. as they pertain to integration. The solutions architect will adhere to best practices, leverage our integration platform (Boomi API Management/Atmosphere and ActiveMQ) and adhere to SOA and Microservice best practices.


• Designs enterprise-level interfaces while working closely with business and IT partners to understand the
requirements of new business initiatives
• Collaborates extensively with technical leads and Integration Manager to ensure that infrastructures and
solutions designed are rationalized across IT functions and business units
• Maintains expertise in emerging technologies and investigates those most appropriate to the company's
• Assists with developing an enterprise-wide governance structure for data management
• Elicits integration requirements, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task
and workflow analysis. Produces coherent design documents
• Identifies and addresses technical risks and adhere to IT processes defined by management and ensures that
developers and partners do the same
• Develops a deep understanding of the systems, integration tools and web services, writes technical
specifications, reviews project deliverables, mentors and oversees assigned developers, enforces coding
standards and compliance with standards, and plans implementations
• Collaborates with developers and others within IT to understand full scope of necessary work, technical risks
and nuances and determine appropriate solutions and resources needed to be successful
• Collaborates with Operations team to communicate correctly and assist in troubleshooting issues and ensuring
that development issues are resolved in a timely fashion
• Develops design patterns and coding standards to ensure the development team develops code consistently.
• Responsible for the API catalog for use by internal and external partners and developers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s (Degree in Computer Science or related field)
• 10 + years of overall experience in enterprise environment with ability to multitask on several different projects and applications
• 5+ years demonstrated ability with software development and software architecture
• Strong hands-on experience on the following technologies / platforms: Large Transactional Systems, SQL Server, T-SQL querying, ETL interfaces, Oracle, FTP, Web Service Technologies, SOAP and RESTful API's, Cloud and CRM platforms/SOA architecture
• Data Integration, Process integration and Data Management, MicroServices, Boomi, .net, ActiveMQ, SoapUI
• Ability to present complex technical ideas in business-friendly language
• Ability to present complex technical ideas in business-friendly language
• Experience in establishing integration standards
• Experience with facilitating technical design meetings and decisions
• Strong SQL experience and knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with data flows and process modeling, analyzing business requirements and translating written architectural, design, and functional specification
• Be adaptive and strike a good balance between speed, efficiency and quality
• Self-directed, willingness to take initiative, propose technical directions, make decisions and resolve conflicts
• Good organizational skills with the ability to track numerous concurrent tasks
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience facilitating development of strategic plans, master plans, or technology roadmaps.
• Experience writing and leveraging written gap analyses, business cases, feasibility studies, and proposals to enable the business to make informed decisions.
