Job Description

Purpose:

The purpose of the Facilities Maintenance Technician is to maintain the cosmetic appearance and the mechanical function of Boca Raton Corporate office leased space, which includes providing excellent customer service to associates as well as vendors. They must familiarize themselves with Bluegreen Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provides excellent service to both associates and vendors.
• Maintains proper working relations within the department and with other operating departments.
• Maintains accurate records for work orders/preventive maintenance, safety, repair/replace of major equipment, inventory of parts and supplies.
• Addresses the concerns and maintenance needs of Bluegreen associates and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Coordinates with external vendors for work being done on site.
• Coordinates internally planned events in meeting rooms, prepare meeting rooms with seating and amenities needed.
• Coordinates new hire desk / office preparation with Human Resource Department for all newly hired associates / contractors
• Maintains site seating plans, which are updated weekly.
• Completes work orders, preventive maintenance and daily projects.
• Carries out all requests from management necessary to provide customer satisfaction.
• Follows all safety procedures when performing duties.
• Cross-trains and provides backup support for basic mailroom duties.
• Maintains scheduling flexibility to accommodate slight variances in work schedule depending on scheduled events.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of Customer Service Experience
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Visio
• Excellent inter-personal skills when dealing with guests,
associates, and the general public.
• Ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a team player attitude, with ability to take direction
• Possess and display a positive attitude
