JOB SUMMARY:  

The purpose of the Inventory Clerk position is to ensure the timely delivery of supplies and any other deliveries to our guest and other team members as called in by PBX or Housekeeping dispatch. The clerk also will monitor our guest request system-HotSOS, perform monthly inventory, communicate with runners and assist as needed.  

  • Complete inventory calls and assist in completing at least 10 units with inventory as required by management team 
  • Monthly inventory of all small wares/linens and other housekeeping equipment 
  • All inventory to be logged into a spreadsheet and to have an accurate amount of items needed on property. 
  • Assist in warehouse area to ensure caddies, chemical bottles, amenity bags are completed and cleanliness of storage areas 
  • Other duties may be assigned as resort demands 

YOUR EXPERIENCE:  

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate 
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Inventory experience of at least one year, Customer Service and Hospitality experience preferred 
  • Flexibility to deal with ever-changing situations, action oriented and energetic. 
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and deadlines and have good time management skills. 
  • MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE 
  • Must have physical ability and willingness to work scheduled hours and to perform all necessary functions of housekeeping department. Must be knowledgeable in the housekeeping field or be willing to learn it. 
  • Must have multi-tasking skills and be a self-starter. Able to work independently, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the flexibility to deal with ever-changing situations. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
