Job Description


Reporting to the Vice President, Mortgage Operations, the Business IT Liaison is responsible for Bluegreen and clients' systems and process integration, implementation of new business processes, and monitoring metrics for the business units: Mortgage Operations, Investor Reporting, Sales Accounting, and Resort Title. Working with software providers, vendors, the internal business units and the business clients of Bluegreen Vacations, the Business Analyst is also responsible for interacting and collaborating with other business units, including Information Technology and Owner Services.


• Works with Mortgage senior leaders to identify improved servicing system, build business case and work with IT to identify project timelines.
• Serves as subject matter expert for Mortgage (LSAMS) servicing system. Learn current iteration of software, customizations and how modules and data are accessed in department workflows.
• Partners with Mortgage department leads to identify opportunities to leverage existing LSAMS technology to drive efficiencies
• Proactively partners with key business stakeholders and identify opportunities to drive improvement with minimal direction.
• Manages service ticket volumes with IT and identify themes or opportunities which require further conversation to minimize future occurrences or impacts.
• Identifies scope of parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria and metrics.
• Develops and uses standard templates to accurately and consistently write requirements specifications for the project.
• Translates requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers and project teams.
• Defines and maintains business reporting for delivery to business unit leaders, occasionally acting as primary backup for Business Intelligence.
• Serves as the business unit liaison for the implementation of internal business changes and system enhancements/customization.
• Maintains knowledge of vendor technology changes and analyze impacts to existing systems and processes.
• Communicates changes, enhancements and modifications of requirements, verbally and through written documentation, to project stakeholders and sponsors, especially with regard to cost, effort and timeline.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science-related or Information Systems-related field preferred or equivalent work experience
3-5 years’ experience in financial services industry and at least one system conversion
PMP Certification preferred
Communication is vitally important in this role. Individual must have strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills to communicate with all levels of the organization, including Operations, IT and Legal teams.
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with limited supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and project a professional image. Ability to organize and conduct effective meetings, including delivering presentations to key stakeholders. Ability and desire to learn new technologies and software features. Ability to exercise independent judgment and take action within realm of responsibility. Logical and efficient with a keen attention to detail
