Job Description


The Integration Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Enterprise-wide Informatica assignments. This person will manage the team's day-to-day tasks and contribute to the team's design, development, troubleshooting, architecture, and overall governance of team activities. The Lead will ensure that all deliverables produce efficient, reliable and quality processes that align with the overarching best practices being applied to all Informatica work, which will ultimately satisfy the business requirements. At times this person will collaborate with augmented development teams to complete large scale solutions. They will be responsible to spearhead medium to large and mission critical assignments that are needed to drive key business decisions. The Lead will work closely with Executives, internal/external vendors, partners and cross functional IT teams.


• Architect solutions to support growing business needs while thoroughly considering the system impact and lead the development of applications across multiple technologies.
• Ability to functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward scalable solutions
• Identify and address technical or operational risks and adhere to IT processes defined by management and ensure that developers and partners do the same.
• Develop a deep understanding of the systems, integrations and architecture, write technical specifications, review project deliverables, mentor and oversee assigned developers, enforce coding standards and compliance with standards, and plan implementations.
• Collaborate with developers and others within IT to understand full scope of necessary work, technical risks and nuances and determine appropriate solutions and resources needed to be successful.
• Drive the SDLC methodology by tracking the current tasks of the team members, and escalating issues as needed.
• Collaborates with the project manager to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for medium to large business unit level projects.
• Collaborates with Operations team to communicate correctly and assist in troubleshooting issues and ensuring that development issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with other Technical Leads and management team to ensure that overall solutions are clearly understood, are appropriate for the enterprise strategy and make the best use of existing resource.
• Conduct design and code reviews with vendor team and assume responsibility for acceptance of the solution prior to migrating into a Bluegreen environment.
• Prioritize team's assignments based on dependencies, track progress and communicate effectively with IT leadership and business partners.
• Effectively prevent outages and provide quick response to production support including some off-hours. Manage availability of integration environments to ensure data load SLA's are met.
• Based on business requirements, assess which in-house integration tool best satisfies the business needs.
• Contribute to evaluations for team members, assist with recruiting and on boarding of developers
• Responsible for inheriting integration processes and providing ongoing support, troubleshooting or possibly new development.
• Troubleshoot long running processes and determine ways to increase efficiencies, reduce failures and perform basic housekeeping.
• Development, testing, documentation and Implementation of Systems and/or Software projects.
• Perform source data analysis Including data profiling to determine feasibility of project and business requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7 + years of overall experience in integration or software development in a large enterprise environment with ability to multi task on several different projects and applications. Informatica Administration using a plus. Understanding of Business Intelligence reporting a plus.
• Sound understanding of data warehousing, design and principles, ETL and workflow design and dependencies.
• Understanding of Data modeling and Analytical model methodology.
• Ability to write SQL queries to perform analysis and data validation.
• Experience with Business Intelligence solutions and SAS solutions.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, planning and analytical skills.
• Extremely organized with strong sense of priority, urgency and commitment to deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpretive skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work under high pressure/quick response environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, in small and large group settings.
• Willingness, ability, and flexibility to adjust work schedule for occasional nights and weekends in case of business need.
• Ability to quickly learn and support other integration technologies.
• Must have initiative to modernize with creative thinking, and foster technical thought leadership by example.
