Job Description


This purpose of this position is to (1) Manage team of Financial Analysts upon; (2) Manage the financial planning and reporting for selected business units* including annual budget and quarterly forecasts, (3) oversee financial and operating reporting for selected business units designed to improve performance management, (4) Assist in compiling  periodic and adhoc reports for Business Unit Leaders, Executive Management and Board.


  • The Financial Planning & Analytics team is responsible for periodic financial reporting. This position will be responsible for performing or, if applicable, supervising tasks which include the following:
  • Prepare and maintain periodic financial reporting and presentations for Executive Management, Board of Directors, and parent firm, as needed.
  • Provide Executive Management with variance explanations to help identify shortfalls and pickups in achieving financial targets.
  • Collaborate with Accounting as it relates to internal and external reporting needs, including providing forward looking guidance for public reporting documents.
  • Prepare financial reports for external marketing partners, as well as collaborate and provide additional support to key individuals as needed.
    • The Financial Planning & Analytics team oversees all forecasting and budgeting initiatives. This position will be responsible for performing or, if applicable, supervising all activities related to P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasting which include the following:
      1. Engage with Executive Management in order to determine specified targets, and providing support to business units to align with these targets.
      2. Work with Treasury related functions as it relates to forecasting which include: (A) debt covenant compliance (B) supporting lender requests (C) maintaining accurate forecasts related to cash requirements and (D) frequently collaborating with the CFO and SVP of Capital Markets to determine changes based on business needs.
      3. Assist with the development of ad hoc proformas related to the acquisition of various strategic initiatives.
      4. Develop monthly and quarterly presentations for Executive Management and parent company.
      5. Perform new and ongoing financial modeling for all forecasting efforts.
      6. Improve Cash Flow and Lookback process with cash flow database. Improve process to evaluate new investments, and support performance review lookbacks.

    • Provide full support to the Director of Planning and Operational Reporting and Senior Vice President as needed


    • BA in Accounting, Finance, or related area. CPA Preferred
    • 5+ years in accounting or finance setting
    • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, TM1 / IBM Planning (or similar) , and BI applications .Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.  Excellent organizational and analytical skills, and ability to produce detailed and accurate work product within deadlines either as part of a team or individually.  'Power User' level of  Excel.
