Purpose:


The Manager, Retail Technology is responsible for the successful resolution of all requests as they pertain to Bluegreen’s Acquisition and Alliance field retail locations. This includes all IT hardware and software solutions used by the Acquisition and Alliance department. The Manager also coordinates with the rest of the IT department when required to meet customer requirements and supports existing technology and provides recommendations of new technical solutions to the Technology committee when needed.  The Manager works closely with the Service Desk manager to ensure all Incident tickets are resolved as per the SLA’s for the Acquisition and Alliance Retail locations.


Responsibilities:


• Accountable for start to finish incident management and request fulfillment for Acquisition and Alliance field retail locations in conjunction with Service Desk fulfillment team.

• Provides updates to management on issues affecting Acquisition and Alliance field retail locations.

• Provides assistance with procurement duties for the Acquisition and Alliance team.

• Provides added support for other initiatives in the department when required

• Follows all department policies and procedures.

• Project manage Retail technology deployments.

• Consistently and accurately reports time.

• Adopt and follow IT Policies and Procedures

• Suggests improvements to the IT Policies and Procedures

• Provides metrics and/or status reports and manages SLA’s on services provided to Acquisition and Alliance field retail locations

• Recommends improvements to technology and processes based on experience and industry best practices.


Requirements:


• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates’ Degree, two-year technical certificate, required.

• 3 years in a support environment position and no less than 1 year in a managerial role.

• Broad knowledge of Microsoft and Apple operating systems, concepts, and methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Reporting and analytical skills.
