The Resort Regional Vice President will directly support the short and long-term strategies for the Resort Management Division by ensuring consistent execution through all Bluegreen Resorts. This position will require an individual who can provide expert leadership to the Associate and Sr. Leadership teams within the regions while championing company philosophies and systems. These Include: keen financial and analytical skills; an intuitive understanding of operating documents for condominium and timeshare associates; thorough understanding of hospitality departmental operations and controls: strong track record of Associate recruitment and development techniques; an innate leadership presence to provide strategic direction to the regional Senior leadership and Associate teams with a “hands-on” approach.

Interact with all Resort Management Associates and interface with all appropriate middle to senior level corporate managers to facilitate the achievement of the Bluegreen Resort priorities. This position also works in conjunction with other senior corporate management to properly implement all corporate directives and the measurement of implemented projects. The VP of operations will be accountable for: The financial performance of all corporate and resort operations; The development and monitoring of the Quality Assurance improvement teams at each Resort; Analyze weakness, identify opportunity and implement improvement methods to meet the annually established goals !n the BEST and guest satisfaction results; The continual development and top grading of Resort Management Associates; Developing, implementing and maintaining the Resort Operating Standards; Developing and implementing the hospitality service training and continuous improvement programs. The VP of Resort Operations will also insure the Resorts conform to Company product standards, Corporate Initiatives, work climate and profitability.

• Ensures that each resort supports Bluegreen’s core values.
• Ensures each region complies with company operations Policies and Procedures, Human Resources policies and various safety programs.
• Develop processes to ensure best practice and alignment with Bluegreen’s overall objective.
• Maintains consistent positive communications with Executive Vice President relative to the overall management and direction of the resorts.
• Development of personnel including their business and personal goals; aligned with the company’s mission statement, strategy and goals.
• Participate in annual budgeting process and ongoing financial accountability at the corporate and HOA level.
• Interface with necessary departments to maximize efficiency of problem resolution and delivery of support services to the field.
• Develop and implement new service initiatives and policies that keep Bluegreen on the cutting edge of guest experience satisfaction.
• Work closely with Sales to ensure company’s core objectives are being met.
• Ensure that all HOA board relations are on solid footing and maintain and grow Bluegreen management contracts.
• Responsible for multi-site expense and revenue budgets.


Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Hospitality, preferred
5 years of experience as a Resort Manager at a large resort or experience in a regional capacity with oversight responsibility of multiple sites
Proven track record of ability to hire strong talent and lead them to success
MS Office Suite. Should have specific knowledge of Resort and Hospitality. Timeshare knowledge is helpful.
Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
