Job Description

The purpose of the Guest Service Associate is to provide excellent customer service to Bluegreen’s owners and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcomes guests.
• Provide check-in and check-out services to our guests.
• Post room charges and incidentals while properly reporting refunds.
• Adhere to Bluegreen’s SOPs and code of ethics and conduct.
• Use proper telephone etiquette when answering and transferring calls.
• Assist with guest inquiries regarding area activities.
• Coordinate with appropriate departments to resolve guest concerns or issues.
• Provide welcome calls and follow up calls to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inventory management for new arrivals and in-house guests.
• Work hand in hand with our Sales and Marketing Team (where applicable).
• Review inbound reservations for special notes and balance due.
• Keep front desk area clean, neat and organized.
• Complete daily shift checklist and any special projects as directed by the Guest Service Supervisor or Manager.
• Practice Bluegreen’s Core Values, Hospitality Happens Here service culture and the 7 Habits of Hospitality.
• Perform other duties as assigned and needed.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Hotel or resort experience is helpful, but not required.
