Job Description

The purpose of the Dispatcher is to dispatch guests’ requests to other departments of the resort, such as housekeeping, inspectors, and maintenance personnel in the effort to keep the operation running in an efficient manner.

• Logs requests for service calls, deliveries and other necessary communication as needed to maintain proper flow between all moving departments of the resort.
• Maintains necessary paperwork as dictated by PBX/Dispatch checklist organized and on file as dictated in the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
• Tracks inventory of supplies for the front office.
• Performs light office duties, such as filing and maintaining necessary paperwork, mailing information, and providing back up coverage for the front desk.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Housekeeping background would be a plus
Experience working with phone and computer system as well as with multiple departments
Excellent communication skills
