Job Description


The purpose of a cook is to prepare food as ordered, and maintain the stated par stocks for food items needed to prepare dishes. The cook is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and their work area in conjunction with the stewarding staff. The cook may be asked to work any station in the kitchen and should be proficient in all areas.

The cook is responsible for their own station and the general par stock and cleanliness of the overall kitchen. The cook needs to know how to follow recipes, weights and measurements associated with cooking.


Job Requirements

High School is required.
Minimum 1 year of experience.
School or trade school helpful but not a must.
Good knife skills, serve safe cert. skilled at knowing doneness of meats, fish, eggs and vegetables.

Must be available nights weekends and holidays
