Job Description

The purpose of the Assistant Manager, Guest Services V is to assist in managing the daily operations of the front desk, reservations, and maintain proper working relationships between the front desk and all other departments. As the Assistant Manager, Guest Services, you must be a hands on and visible front desk staff member, as well as be able to lead by example.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist in coaching, counseling, and developing of Guest Services Associates as necessary. Provide input into the performance appraisal for Guest Services Associates.
• Schedule the Guest Services Associates to meet the needs of the Resort.
• Perform Front Desk duties as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining continued training for Guest Services Associates.
• Ensure the satisfaction of all guests by ensuring the timely resolution of all guest/owner issues.
• Prepare daily reports as directed by Guest Services Manager.
• Perform daily checks of all audits to ensure SOPs are being followed.
• Manage the resort inventory to attain the highest yield per resort objectives. Provide training to all Guest Services Associates on proper reservation procedures.
• Provide input into the development of Guest/Owner relation programs.

Job Requirements

Associates Degree, or equivalent experience
3+ years in customer service, 1 year in timeshare leading a at 200+ unit property with average yearly occupancy of 80% or greater.
2+ years supervisor experience with direct supervisory responsibility for members and including Night Audit.
Front of the house; maintenance housekeeping; night audit packs; COT; SOPS; passing QA; IA ; Safety Inspections. First aid certification; CPR; Some knowledge of Inventory Management ; Strong Interview Skills; Experienced with Coaching, Mentoring and Development, Annual Appraisal; Presentation Skills; Ability to make managerial decisions when acting as MOD; Manage down, across and up well; Increase level of owner satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development; assume responsibility for personal growth and development; conducts him/herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates.

EXTERNAL- experience equivalent to that of an internal candidate and willingness to learn Bluegreen specific processes, policies and procedures as a condition of employment. First aid certification; CPR
Systems knowledge; H3; COT; HR knowledge and partnership skills; scheduling; multitask; skills in time management; able to handle and embrace diversity; leadership skills; 10 Additional iLearn Classes; Development of Associates; Financial Skills; RELP; Ability to solve and handle guest and employee issues. For externals, proven equivalent experience.
