Purpose:
The Mortgage Research Specialist will provide service to Mortgage customers by responding to their inquiries via the '800' phone lines and the Mortgage Escalation database.
Responsibilities:
• The Mortgage Research Specialist will quote loan payoffs, provide loan payment history information, prepare loan payoff quotes, provide information relative to loan payments, and ACH transactions
• Act as liaison between the Vacation Club sales sites and Vacation Club owners
• Work with the Mortgage Credit Department to resolve customer disputes
• Respond to credit verification requests. Update customer records on the LSAMS system
• Order loan payment coupons and respond to customer correspondence.
• Responsible for general administrative support, data entry, assist with other specific projects and any miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)
• Minimum of one-year experience in the mortgage environment
• One to three years of experience in customer service, call center, and data entry
• Concepts, policies and procedures as they relate to loans and loan documentation.
• Customer service and quality fundamentals, MS Office
• Strong customer service skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
