Job Description

The Marketing Specialist role will manage the development process for sales support marketing materials, both digital and printed. This role will also manage internal social media ‘community’ platform and assist with ad hoc projects as needed. The Specialist should be passionate about marketing, a team player, detail oriented, an effective communicator and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities:
• Creates and updates digital marketing assets for Retail Marketing. Populates content into the content management system, seeks and integrates customer feedback, and tests results to optimize content. Evolves content themes to continue to engage target audiences. Supports additional digital marketing initiatives as assigned.
• Works with the Sr. Marketing Manager to roll out new marketing initiatives. Submits creative project requests to in-house creative team, route proofs for feedback/approval, obtain cost estimates/approvals and ensure project launch timelines are met. Proofs, copy edits and performs quality assurance.
• Is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the internal social media platform, including team engagement/collaboration, content management, measurement/reporting, troubleshooting, technical support, platform optimization, create and maintain training resources.
• The Content Marketing Specialist will document processes and procedures relative to the position. Additionally, this role will be instrumental in the training process when new team members are onboarded.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on marketing experience, including creative development of printed and digital assets required. Proven working knowledge and experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and content management systems a must (Sitecore CMS preferred).
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. A self-starter with a high attention to detail, a willingness to think outside the box and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal direction. Must have excellent prioritization skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
