Job Description

Purpose:

The Manager – Retail Technology will be responsible for leading the technology initiatives within Bluegreen Customer Acquisition and Alliances at 100+ retail locations across the US. Individual will oversee implementation of technology into retail environments including both new store openings and existing store upgrades. Candidate will review and distribute documentation of best practices and technical standard operating procedures.

The Manager will manage requests to drive the future strategy related to retail projects, and participate in regularly scheduled meetings with Retail and IT leaders. Individual will work closely with internal teams including Retail, Creative and IT to lead the technical aspects and strategy for long term innovation and growth. Ensures standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place.

The candidate will possess both industry experience and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and innovate Retail Technology
• Drives/influences internal teams
• Ensures that all technology for projects is delivered on time
• Enhances the Retail Experience through new innovation and ideas
• Manages further innovation and drive forward infrastructure and systems
• Leads requirement gathering for new technologies between Retail and IT
• Removes project roadblocks and ensure all projects are on track
• Ensures that standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place
• Review weekly project status tracking and reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to meet with executives internal/external to sell in ideas and provide status updates

Job Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field
• 5+ years IT required. Retail technology experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft environment including Windows Operating Systems and Office related products.
• Individual must have a general understanding of PCI requirements and consider those in all facets of work.
• Individual must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and make recommendations and decisions on the improvement and operation of those areas.
• Individual must be customer focused and have a clear understanding of their service role in the organization.
• Individual must interact extensively with all levels of IT as well as business team members and is required to act in a professional and confidential manner.
• Individual must be able to deal effectively with a wide variety of end users.
• Requires well-developed communication skills and the ability to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with IT teams and business customers.
• Independent, curious, driven and has a high strong will to succeed.
• Strong analytical skills and a jigh achievement and learning orientation.
• Must be able to work well in a a high paced, fluid environment with changing deadlines.
