Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: You will be responsible for supervising and managing the Maintenance (Engineering) service staff, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of the resort.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain accountability for the Resort's maintenance, including salary administration, budget management, inventory control, addressing guest requests, and ensuring our resort's comment card scores are top-notch.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that Engineering meets Internal, Quality, and Loss Prevention Audit standards, delivering top-quality service to our guests.
  • Team Development: Manage the hiring and onboarding process, mentor, coach, and develop associates in the Maintenance (Engineering) Department, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
  • Quality Control: Oversee Engineering and Ground jobs to ensure both the quality and quantity of work meet our high standards.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Conduct daily and weekly walk-throughs to visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the resort's physical structures.
  • Budget Management: Direct and assist in implementing maintenance plans and inventory controls while considering operational and budgetary constraints.

Your Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: 5+ years as a maintenance tech, 2+ years as an Assistant or Engineering/Maintenance Manager (preferably in timeshare).
  • Software Skills: HOTSOS experience preferred.
  • Certification: Preventive maintenance procedures required, with certification within one year.
  • Skills: Possess vital budgeting, scheduling, and communication skills. A self-starter who can work independently, leads with high accountability, empathy, and fairness.
  • Availability: Able to work all shifts as needed.
