Job Description

Purpose:

The Lead, IT Change Mgmt. will work to grow and mature the IT Change Mgmt. program with a focus on protecting our IT Assets Investment and preventing unauthorized changes. The role will oversee the IT Change Mgmt. process and enforce IT policies and the IT Service Mgmt. framework across all Bluegreen Vacations sites (including corporate, field locations and resorts). This role will lead activities focused on process enhancement, data accuracy and integrity, regulatory compliance, and standardization. The Lead, IT Change Mgmt. is responsible for measuring and managing KPI’s for Technology Change Mgmt. data while also driving maturity by implementing new tools, processes, or policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to IT Change Management standards, procedures and processes.
  • Mature the IT Change Management processes.
  • Review all change requests to ensure they meet the established completion criteria and processes.
  • Review schedules of changes to identify time, conflicts, and risks associated with requested changes.
  • Approve or reject submitted change requests, with a small percentage requiring review outside of normal business
  • hours.
  • Chair meetings that review changes, such as Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Change Review Meeting (CRM).
  • Approve emergency changes in conjunction with management.
  • Communicate change related information and manage expectations of changes.
  • Recommend process enhancements and continue improvement opportunities that are based on ITIL best practices
  • and industry standards.
  • Conduct post implementation review and close all changes.
  • Publish Change and Release Management KPIs and metrics.
  • Maintain a published change blackout calendar.
  • Support the SOX, SOC, and PCI Compliance audits.
  • Provide change-related artifacts to auditors.
  • Work closely with system administrators to enhance the change management software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with IT Change Management programs.
  • Extensive experience using an IT Change Management tools and CMDB.
  • Operational experience performing data/process audits and developing/implementing remediation projects.
  • Experience creating IT processes, policy, and reports.
  • CobIT, ITIL, SOX, and PCI, SDLC Knowledge.
  • Experience preparing IT change plans to deploy hardware and software onto servers.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, forward-thinking, and decision making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, coordination, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ITIL background. Demonstrate an ability to identify dependencies and coordinate complex technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with software/hardware asset lifecycle management, processes, planning, acquisition, deployment monitoring, harvesting, and retirement.
  • Strong knowledge utilizing and/or implementing IT Change Management systems/tools.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills; independent thinking, creativity and ability to work in a team environment; strong analytical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Considerable independent judgment needed to make decisions in carrying out assignment that have significant impact on IT.
  • Strong creative thinking and puzzle solving skills.
  • Able to manage under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Capacity for high productivity with repetitive work and an ability to handle ambiguous information.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Flexibility and patience with handling changing customer demands.
  • Adept at building relationships with cross-functional and remote teams, at all levels of the organization, both internally and with clients.
  • Proactive; ability to anticipate problems and identify alternative solutions.
